Chef Robotics Hits 100 Million Production Servings, Cementing Lead in Physical AI for Food Manufacturing

New updates have been reported about Chef Robotics.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

Chef Robotics has surpassed 100 million food servings produced at customer facilities, giving the company the largest real-world dataset for deformable food manipulation in the physical AI sector and an order-of-magnitude lead over other food robotics providers. This milestone, achieved across more than a dozen high-volume production sites in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, underpins Chef’s value proposition of improving yield, consistency, and labor productivity for food manufacturers facing structural labor shortages.

The company’s strategy centers on training its AI models exclusively on real production data rather than simulations, synthetic data, or internet-scale corpora, creating a data flywheel where each deployment expands the range of ingredients, use cases, and sites the system can handle. Since its first commercial deployment with Amy’s Kitchen in 2022, Chef has accelerated from 1 million servings in April 2023 to 50 million in May 2025 and now 100 million in under a year, a trajectory CEO Rajat Bhageria says positions the firm as a category-defining physical AI platform beyond food alone.
