BV Investment Partners has been named one of the top 10 best-performing lower mid-market buyout firms in the newly released 2025 HEC–Paris Dow Jones performance rankings, underscoring the firm’s sustained returns in tech-enabled business services and solutions. CEO and Partner Vikrant Raina said the repeat recognition reflects BV’s strategy of partnering closely with founders and management teams to build scale and value in its portfolio.
The HEC–Paris analysis, led by Professor Oliver Gottschalg, evaluated 695 private equity managers and 1,439 buyout funds raised between 2012 and 2021, representing roughly $2.5 trillion of equity, using composite metrics including IRR, DPI, and TVPI to assess performance. BV, which manages more than $7.8 billion in assets and has completed 51 investments with 23 realizations or substantial exits under its current strategy, has now been ranked among the top 10 buyout firms in the mid-market or lower mid-market for two consecutive years, reinforcing its competitive positioning and track record with limited partners and founder-owned businesses.
