Brightspeed has reached the halfway mark in its Arkansas fiber network rollout, with ultra-fast service now available to roughly 101,000 homes and businesses out of more than 202,000 locations planned statewide. The company reports its fiber build is fully complete in a slate of smaller and mid-sized communities, including Bald Knob, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Paris, Pocahontas, Russellville and others, positioning Brightspeed as a key infrastructure provider in those markets.
To accelerate customer adoption and monetize this new capacity, Brightspeed is deploying door-to-door sales and support teams across dozens of Arkansas towns, aimed at educating residents and businesses on service availability, plans and benefits. The expansion is underpinned by nearly $26.3 million in federal BEAD funding to construct 13,799 additional locations and more than $470,000 in ARPA grants to reach 528 more, leveraging public capital alongside the company’s private investment and supporting Brightspeed’s broader strategy to scale its multi-state fiber footprint and drive future revenue growth.
