Aura Business Taps TD SYNNEX to Scale Identity-Centric BYOD Security for MSPs

New updates have been reported about Aura.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

Aura Business has signed a distribution partnership with TD SYNNEX to push its identity-centric BYOD security platform across the distributor’s North American reseller and MSP network, positioning Aura to capture rising demand for protecting employee-owned devices. The offering lets MSPs secure access to corporate systems from personal devices without taking device control or viewing personal data, addressing a key human-identity gap in current security stacks.

The move targets a market where 65% of MSPs report client demand for BYOD management and 55% have faced at least one BYOD-related incident in the past two years, yet only 24% currently monitor employee-owned devices. Aura’s solution focuses on identity threats such as credential theft, account compromise, and phishing, and is delivered via a multi-tenant platform that centralizes visibility and control for partners.

Aura executives describe the TD SYNNEX agreement as a way to adapt the company’s consumer-focused online safety capabilities into a streamlined, MSP-ready product that layers onto existing offerings without adding major operational complexity. TD SYNNEX, which serves more than 150,000 customers globally, has immediately listed Aura Business in its marketplace, giving Aura rapid access to a broad MSP and reseller channel.

For Aura, the partnership is strategically significant because it extends the brand deeper into the B2B and MSP segments, diversifying beyond its core consumer and family online safety base and leveraging TD SYNNEX’s scale to accelerate adoption. The identity-centric BYOD focus also aligns Aura with high-growth segments in cybersecurity and remote work security, potentially improving recurring revenue opportunities as MSPs bundle the service into managed security portfolios.

In addition, Aura Business is positioned to complement existing endpoint, network, and cloud controls rather than replace them, which may reduce channel friction and support faster integration into MSP security stacks. Over time, successful uptake through TD SYNNEX could enhance Aura’s standing as a specialized provider of identity-first protection for unmanaged and employee-owned endpoints in distributed work environments.
