An announcement from Webus International Limited ( (WETO) ) is now available.

On March 16, 2026, Wetour Robotics Limited announced that its corporate name change from Webus International Limited had taken effect, marking a strategic pivot from travel technology into Physical AI infrastructure and wearable robotics. Effective March 17, 2026, the new name will appear on the Nasdaq Capital Market, although the company will retain its existing ticker symbol WETO.

The company simultaneously designated Austin, Texas as its U.S. headquarters and principal research center to drive technology strategy, product development and ecosystem partnerships in Physical AI and wearable robotics. Management highlighted Austin’s concentration of robotics and AI talent and its proximity to the University of Texas at Austin, underscoring the city’s role in positioning Wetour as a U.S.-led player in next-generation robotics platforms.

Central to the strategy is Orchestra, a new operating system conceived as an intelligence and coordination layer for Physical AI and wearable devices such as smart glasses, gesture-control wristbands and body-worn sensors. By offloading heavy AI processing to a portable hub while keeping wearables lightweight and power-efficient, the platform is intended to make all-day, multi-device use more practical.

Wetour is designing Orchestra with an open architecture and plans to publish interface protocols so third-party manufacturers of exoskeletons, sensors and robotic hardware can integrate their devices while the company preserves proprietary control over its core intelligence engine. This approach is aimed at building a broader ecosystem and enabling non-technical creators to develop novel use cases, which could enhance Wetour’s competitive position and influence standards in the emerging Physical AI and wearable robotics market.
