Travis Perkins ( (GB:TPK) ) just unveiled an update.
Travis Perkins reported 2025 revenue of £4.57bn, down 0.9%, with adjusted operating profit falling 12.5% to £133m as weaker merchanting volumes, sharper pricing and promotions weighed on margins, although group like-for-like sales inched up 0.3%. Toolstation UK was a bright spot with a 29% rise in adjusted operating profit to £44m, while restructuring and impairments drove a £97m operating loss and a £176m loss after tax.
The group significantly strengthened its balance sheet, moving to a small net cash position before leases for the first time in nearly 30 years, reducing net debt / adjusted EBITDA to 2.1x and securing over £800m of liquidity and refinancing its £250m bond with US private placement notes. Sector veteran Gavin Slark, who became CEO on 1 January 2026, has flattened the management structure and signalled a focus on cost control, operational recovery and selective capital allocation to restore performance in a challenging UK construction market.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:TPK) stock is a Buy with a £8.60 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Travis Perkins stock, see the GB:TPK Stock Forecast page.
