Tourism Holdings Limited has announced a board reshuffle, with long-serving independent director Gráinne Troute resigning effective at the end of May 2026 after more than a decade of service. Troute, who previously chaired the Remuneration and Nomination Committee and sits on the Health, Safety and Sustainability Committee, is being acknowledged by the board for her extensive governance and leadership contributions.
To fill the vacancy, thl has appointed experienced executive and director Barbara Chapman CNZM as an independent director, effective immediately. Chapman’s background as former ASB Bank chief executive and current chair of Genesis Energy and director of Bank of New Zealand is expected to strengthen thl’s governance capability, adding heavyweight financial and strategic expertise at a time when the global tourism operator continues to expand its international footprint.
