Top Glove’s founder and substantial shareholder, Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai, has increased his stake in the company through a series of share purchases between 3 and 5 February 2026, acquiring a total of 6 million shares via direct transactions and a further 1 million shares via an indirect interest tied to Mr Lim Hooi Sin. Following these acquisitions, Lim’s direct holding stands at about 28.74% and his indirect stake at about 9.01%, bringing his total interest to more than 3.02 billion shares, a move that further consolidates insider ownership and may signal continued confidence in the company’s prospects to investors and other stakeholders.
