Tokyo Energy & Systems has sharply raised its full-year earnings outlook for the year to March 2026, driven by improving profit margins and one-off gains. While net sales are expected to be only slightly higher than previously forecast, operating profit, ordinary profit and profit attributable to owners of parent are all projected to significantly outpace earlier guidance and last year’s results, supported by more disciplined order-taking, productivity gains, derivative valuation gains and proceeds from selling cross-shareholdings.
Reflecting the stronger performance, the company has lifted its forecast for the fiscal year-end dividend to ¥35 per share, up from a prior plan of ¥29, taking the full-year payout to ¥63 versus ¥57 expected earlier. Management reiterated that shareholder returns remain a key priority and said the dividend hike is consistent with its medium- to long-term policy of progressive, profit-linked dividends underpinned by stable payouts and balanced against internal reserves and future growth investments.
