The latest update is out from SigmaRoc ( (GB:SRC) ).
SigmaRoc reported a solid start to 2026, with Q1 revenue holding flat year on year at £251.5m despite a 3% reduction in total volumes caused by extreme winter weather in Central and Northern Europe. Improved product mix, pricing and internalisation of logistics drove a 12% rise in underlying EBITDA to £54.9m and a 250-basis-point margin increase to 21.8%, while operating profits grew 4% as self-help programmes continued to deliver benefits.
The company said trading improved through March as weather disruptions eased, supported by signs of rising European steel production after EU tariff and quota changes and early indications of a housing recovery in core markets. Management is monitoring risks from Middle East tensions and awaiting the impact of anticipated German stimulus in the second half, but believes diversified end markets, energy risk mitigation strategies and emerging demand for lime in agriculture and power generation underpin an unchanged positive outlook for 2026.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:SRC) stock is a Buy with a £140.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on SigmaRoc stock, see the GB:SRC Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on SRC Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SRC is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by improving financial performance (notably stronger 2025 profitability), offset by elevated balance-sheet/cash-conversion risk and a clearly weak technical setup (price below key moving averages and negative MACD). Valuation is reasonable on P/E, but lacks dividend yield support.
