Serabi Gold ( (GB:SRB) ) has provided an announcement.
Serabi Gold is increasing processing capacity at its Palito Complex by installing a fourth ball mill, lifting throughput to 330,000 tonnes per year and addressing plant bottlenecks that have limited its two-mines-one-plant strategy. The move, funded from cash flow, supports 2026 production guidance of 53,000–57,000 ounces and underpins a reassessment of the previously suspended São Chico mine, which has become economically attractive again amid record gold prices.
At Coringa, the company is shifting from selective to longhole and sublevel open stoping, leveraging favourable vein geometry and proven ore sorting to boost output, cut costs and improve safety while progressing key environmental and land-use approvals needed for a full mining licence. Serabi has completed a 38,400-metre 2025 brownfield drilling programme at Palito and Coringa, reporting multiple high-grade intercepts, and has launched a US$9 million 2026 brownfield campaign aimed at growing group mineral inventory beyond 1.5 million ounces and updating mineral resources in early 2026.
