Rejlers AB Class B ( ($SE:REJL.B) ) has issued an update.
Rejlers has been selected as the engineering partner for the development phase of the Oulu Experience Arena, a large multi-purpose venue planned near Oulu city centre in Finland that aims to boost the region’s profile as a hub for international sports, cultural and business events. The project, led by SRV and Trevian Asset Management’s Raksila 2.0 consortium, is a technically demanding 45,000-square-metre complex that targets high environmental performance, including LEED Platinum certification and alignment with EU Taxonomy criteria.
Over a two-year development phase, Rejlers will design HVAC, energy, electrical and sprinkler systems, as well as audiovisual, telecommunications, security and lighting solutions, underpinning efficient operations and a safe user experience for diverse event formats. Construction is currently scheduled to start in 2028 with completion in 2030, and the arena is expected to host sports, concerts, exhibitions and conferences, drawing an estimated 2.1 million visitors annually and reinforcing Rejlers’ role in large-scale sustainable infrastructure projects in the Nordic region.
