Powerhouse Ventures Limited, an Australian speciality investment house, has expanded beyond its original venture focus into a diversified, institutional-style platform spanning proprietary investing, funds management and corporate advisory. Its product suite now includes the Aliwa Alpha Fund, an active advisory practice and the forthcoming Critical Infrastructure Opportunities Fund, aimed at emerging critical infrastructure assets.
The company plans to change its name to Powerhouse Capital Partners Limited, subject to shareholder approval and regulatory clearances, to better reflect its co-investment model and partnership approach with clients. Management says the rebrand is intended to signal the group’s broader capabilities, greater sophistication and institutional ambition to investors, advisory clients and portfolio companies while retaining its ASX ticker, PVL.
