PowerBank Corp ( (TSE:SUNN) ) has shared an announcement.
PowerBank has secured up to US$1.12 million in incentives from New York’s NYSERDA NY-Sun program for its 7.1 MW Jordan Rd 2 community solar project in Skaneateles Falls, a brownfield development expected to power the equivalent of about 895 homes annually. The project has obtained municipal and environmental approvals and, once financed and built, will sell bill-credit subscriptions to local customers, reinforcing New York’s leadership in community solar as the state pursues 10 GW of installed capacity by 2030.
The company also disclosed that it has mutually agreed with Orbit AI to cancel a planned US$500,000 strategic investment while keeping their collaboration agreement in place, and it received a Nasdaq notice that its shares have traded below the US$1 minimum bid price requirement. These developments highlight both the growth prospects from PowerBank’s expanding U.S. community solar footprint and the capital markets and execution risks it faces as it depends on third-party financing, regulatory incentives, and compliance with exchange listing standards.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:SUNN) stock is a Buy with a C$6.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on PowerBank Corp stock, see the TSE:SUNN Stock Forecast page.
