Nusco SpA ( (IT:NUS) ) has provided an update.
Nusco S.p.A. has mutually agreed with Abu Dhabi-based Unique Façade Aluminium Works to terminate the planned acquisition of a 51% stake in the façade specialist, halting a deal that had been expected to close in the first half of 2026. The parties cited findings from their talks and a deteriorating macroeconomic and geopolitical backdrop as reasons the transaction no longer aligned with its original objectives.
Despite constructive negotiations and longstanding sector complementarities, Nusco and Unique Façade concluded that proceeding would not be effective in the current context, though they left the door open to revisiting potential collaboration if conditions improve. The decision removes a near-term expansion move for Nusco into the Middle Eastern façade market but avoids execution and geopolitical risks that have intensified in recent months.
