Nordic Halibut AS reported an average sales price of 188 NOK per kilogram of fresh halibut in the first quarter of 2026, slightly below the prior year, while increasing harvested volume to 269 tonnes and lifting average harvest weight to 6.6 kilograms. First-quarter sales revenue reached NOK 47.7 million on a 10% year-on-year rise in sales volume to 251 tonnes, underpinned by higher biomass and steady operational growth.

The company’s sea-based production expanded by 10% in biomass terms, reflecting modest quarter-on-quarter biomass gains alongside harvested volumes. Construction of the Tingvoll facility advanced on schedule and remains key to Nordic Halibut’s scale-up strategy, supporting its ambition to reach 10,350 tonnes of annual production by 2031 and reinforcing its long-term growth trajectory in farmed halibut.
