NFT ( (MI) ) has issued an update.

NFT Limited has appointed experienced finance executive Yaobin Wang as chief financial officer effective May 12, 2026, following the resignation of former CFO Jianguang Qian on May 7, 2026, for personal reasons unconnected to any disagreements over accounting or operations. Wang, who previously served as NFT Limited’s CFO from July 2023 to August 2024 and has an extensive background in senior finance roles across Chinese and international companies, returns under a new employment agreement with a base salary of $60,000 a year, signaling continuity and stability in the company’s financial leadership for investors and other stakeholders.

The new executive employment agreement sets an initial three-month term for Wang’s CFO role, automatically extendable by nine months, and details compensation, benefits, and termination conditions, including limited severance eligibility and at-will termination provisions in certain scenarios. The board’s swift move to reinstall a familiar and credentialed CFO, who holds both Chinese and U.S. CPA qualifications and is pursuing an FMBA, is likely aimed at minimizing disruption to financial reporting and reinforcing governance standards at a time when leadership continuity in the finance function is critical for market confidence.
