New Age Metals ( (TSE:NAM) ) just unveiled an update.
New Age Metals Inc. has entered into an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Gravel Ridge PGM Property near the Lac des Îles Mine in northwestern Ontario, expanding its Platreef PGM Project. The deal adds about 740 hectares to its land position, bringing the Platreef package to roughly 17,630 hectares in a district anchored by Canada’s only primary palladium mine and strong regional infrastructure.
The Gravel Ridge property lies within the Lac des Îles intrusive complex, interpreted as prospective for intrusion-hosted PGM–nickel–copper mineralization with multiple untested or underexplored geophysical and intrusive targets. The acquisition strengthens New Age Metals’ PGM pipeline alongside its River Valley, Northern Shield, Platreef and Genesis assets, and the company plans ongoing engagement with local First Nations as it advances systematic exploration in line with national critical minerals priorities.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:NAM) stock is a Buy with a C$1.04 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on New Age Metals stock, see the TSE:NAM Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on NAM Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, NAM is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, operating losses, and negative free cash flow), despite low leverage on the balance sheet. Technicals are mildly bearish with price below key moving averages and a negative MACD. Valuation is also a headwind given the very high P/E and lack of dividend support.
