Navigator Global Investments Ltd ( (AU:NGI) ) has provided an announcement.
Navigator Global Investments has agreed to acquire a portfolio of net revenue share interests in 17 alternative asset managers from Stable Asset Management-related funds and clients for US$195 million, to be branded the NGI Stable Growth Portfolio within its strategic segment. The portfolio spans strategies including long-short equities, royalties, quantitative, private credit and relative value, adding US$15 billion in firm-level assets under management, greater diversification across manager size and maturity, and a higher growth profile for Navigator.
The deal, expected to complete in early FY27 subject to regulatory approvals, will be funded via a fully underwritten A$145 million accelerated entitlement offer and A$136 million in Navigator scrip, implying a 7.6-times multiple on 2025 distributions. Alongside the purchase, Navigator has formed a long-term strategic partnership with Stable, paying a fixed annual fee for portfolio management, in a move the company expects to be low double-digit earnings per share accretive and to enhance profitability, scale and its positioning as a global partner to alternative asset managers.
