Mitsubishi Steel Mfg.Co., Ltd. ( (JP:5632) ) just unveiled an update.

Mitsubishi Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd. has decided to transfer all shares of its Mexican subsidiary, MSSC MFG MEXICANA, S.A. DE C.V., to the Hwaway Technology Corporation Limited Group as part of a restructuring of its North American operations. MSM will retain sales rights and continue doing business with existing customers, while reallocating management resources from Mexico to its Canadian and U.S. subsidiaries to strengthen the competitiveness and profitability of its automotive spring business.

The decision follows a challenging business environment in Mexico and reflects MSM’s strategy to consolidate production into two North American bases to enhance capital efficiency. MSSC Mexico, which had recorded losses in recent years, will be removed from the scope of consolidation after the share transfer, eliminating the impact of its losses on group results, and the company expects only minimal effect on consolidated earnings for the fiscal year ending March 2026, alongside a tax benefit from net operating loss carryforwards.

The most recent analyst rating on (JP:5632) stock is a Hold with a Yen2036.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Mitsubishi Steel Mfg.Co., Ltd. stock, see the JP:5632 Stock Forecast page.
