Mineros SA ( (TSE:MSA) ) has provided an update.
Mineros S.A. reported a strong first quarter of 2026, with total gold production rising 7% year over year to 57,850 ounces and silver output more than doubling to 161,766 ounces. Gold equivalent production reached 60,782 ounces, a 10% increase over the prior year period, underscoring the company’s operational momentum in a favorable precious metals environment.
Performance was driven largely by the Hemco operation in Nicaragua, where gold production grew 22% and silver volumes rose sharply on the back of improved metallurgical recoveries and plant optimization. While output at the Nechí property in Colombia was slightly below average but in line with mine plans, management expects production to normalize later in the year as new areas are accessed and continuous improvement initiatives advance.
Hemco’s processing capacity expansion is progressing, with throughput already at 2,100 tonnes per day and a year-end target of 2,500 tonnes per day, positioning the company to sustain growth in gold equivalent output. With first-quarter volumes supporting a trajectory toward the upper end of annual production guidance, Mineros is reinforcing its standing as a key regional gold producer and signaling potential upside for stakeholders tied to its operational and capacity gains.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:MSA) stock is a Buy with a C$11.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Mineros SA stock, see the TSE:MSA Stock Forecast page.
