Mindflair plc, the AIM-listed AI-focused investment company, has gained indirect exposure to the games sector through a new investment by Sure Valley Ventures’ second fund in ManaMind, a London-based autonomous game testing start-up. The pre-seed round saw ManaMind raise US$1.5 million from a syndicate led by SVV, with the capital earmarked to grow its technical team, advance proprietary AI models and scale its presence in key markets.
ManaMind’s platform uses autonomous agents to play through games, identify bugs and deliver detailed reports, aiming to reduce studios’ reliance on repetitive manual quality assurance work. With early design partnerships secured with mobile studio Included Games and hypercasual developer Crazy Labs, the deal underscores Mindflair’s push into commercially proven AI applications, potentially enhancing portfolio value as automation tools gain traction in the global games industry.
