Miata Metals reported new drilling results from the Jons Trend zone at its Sela Creek Gold Project in Suriname, expanding the mineralized footprint by about 20% to 300 meters of lateral extent. The first four holes of the 2026 program delivered broad mineralized intervals and multiple high-grade gold intercepts, including 11.3 meters at 3.58 g/t and several samples above 30 g/t.
The results confirm strong lateral continuity and show that higher-grade mineralization extends along the northern portion of Jons Trend, which remains open to the north, at depth, and along strike. With a second drill rig on site, Miata plans systematic expansion drilling at Jons Trend while testing other high-priority targets, reinforcing Sela Creek’s potential as a large, structurally controlled gold system with significant exploration upside for stakeholders.
