Net profit attributable to shareholders more than doubled to HK$118.5 million, while basic earnings per share climbed to 27.6 Hong Kong cents, reflecting better operating efficiency and improved margins.
The group also benefited from reduced selling and distribution costs, lower impairment losses on financial assets and a swing to net other gains, which helped lift profit from operations to HK$174.1 million.
