Green Landscaping Group AB ( (SE:GREEN) ) has shared an update.
Green Landscaping Group reported first-quarter 2026 net sales of SEK 1,389 million, up 14% year-on-year, with 11% organic growth and contributions from acquisitions, but margins softened as the EBITA margin declined to 2.2% and earnings per share remained negative. Adjusted EBITA rose 29% when excluding a prior-year capital gain, with profitability improving in Sweden and Other Europe while Norway continued to lag, and management is responding with cost and operational measures, tighter focus on leverage after net debt rose to 3.1 times EBITDA, and continued expansion in Germany to strengthen its European platform.
The group’s order backlog increased to SEK 7,741 million, underpinned by strong winter services demand and efforts to smooth seasonal swings, while cash flow from operations stayed stable at SEK 137 million despite higher leverage and weaker headline profitability. Portfolio reshaping continued with the acquisition of German firm Finke Landschaft + Straße GmbH and the divestment of Svensk Jordelit AB, and governance changes are in train with a proposed refresh of the board, as the company positions for a busier summer season and seeks to lift returns in its underperforming Norwegian operations.
