Genesis Energy has announced the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Julie Amey, effective 10 April 2026, marking the departure of a key executive who helped deliver major systems and finance transformations. During her tenure, Amey led the implementation of a new enterprise software platform and the Powered Finance transformation programme, strengthening the finance function to better support the company’s growth plans and investor value proposition.
Chief Executive Malcolm Johns publicly thanked Amey for advancing strategic priorities, particularly around balance sheet management and investor positioning, underscoring her influence on the group’s financial strategy. Genesis has begun the search for a new CFO with a mandate to maintain momentum in its accelerated growth programme, signalling continuity of its current strategic direction despite the leadership change.
