Countplus Limited ( (AU:CUP) ) just unveiled an update.
Count Limited has agreed to acquire 100% of Oracle Group, a Newcastle-based provider of financial advice, accounting and investment management services with 14 offices across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. Oracle generated $26.4 million in revenue and $8.6 million in EBITA in FY25 and is forecast to deliver about $10 million in EBITA in FY26, substantially boosting Count’s Wealth segment contribution.
The transaction, priced at 7.2 times forecast FY26 EBITA, is expected to be low double-digit EPS accretive on a FY26 pro forma basis before synergies, with around $1 million in annual pre-tax cost synergies targeted within 24 months. Count will part-fund the deal via a fully underwritten institutional placement of approximately $35.9 million and a share purchase plan of up to $5 million, reinforcing its push to have financial planning revenues represent at least half of equity partnership earnings and strengthening its east coast footprint in the advice market.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:CUP) stock is a Buy with a A$1.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Countplus Limited stock, see the AU:CUP Stock Forecast page.
