CNH Industrial Q1 Profit Plunges but Guidance Reaffirmed

CNH Industrial ( (CNH) ) has shared an announcement.

On April 30, 2026, CNH Industrial reported first-quarter 2026 consolidated revenues of $3.83 billion, flat year-on-year, but net income fell sharply to $10 million from $132 million a year earlier, with diluted earnings per share down to $0.01. Adjusted net income declined to $21 million, industrial activities posted a negative adjusted EBIT margin of 1.4%, free cash flow absorption worsened slightly to $589 million, yet the company reaffirmed its full-year guidance as management cited disciplined production, stable channel inventories and cost actions amid weak North American farm equipment demand, trade headwinds and ongoing challenges in Brazil.

Agriculture net sales were stable at about $2.6 billion as pricing and currency tailwinds offset lower volumes in most regions, but adjusted EBIT in the segment dropped to $27 million, pressured by tariffs, higher SG&A and R&D spending and softer joint venture results. Construction net sales slipped 3% to $574 million with a swing to a negative adjusted EBIT, underscoring the broader margin compression across industrial activities even as CNH continued to invest in product development to position for an eventual recovery in the global agriculture cycle.

The most recent analyst rating on (CNH) stock is a Hold with a $11.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on CNH Industrial stock, see the CNH Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on CNH Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, CNH is a Neutral.

Overall score reflects pressured fundamentals and cautious 2026 outlook (weaker margins/earnings and subdued guidance) partially offset by solid 2025 operating/free cash flow and measurable cost-savings progress. Technicals are also soft (below key moving averages with negative MACD), while valuation is only moderately supportive given the current earnings headwinds.
