Cambi ASA ( (DE:3W7) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Cambi has signed a contract with Watercare Services to deliver two thermal hydrolysis systems for the Rosedale wastewater treatment plant in Auckland, marking a strategically important project in a growing market. The deal starts with an engineering phase, with manufacturing expected to follow after a later notice to proceed, and the engineering portion classified as a small contract while the total project ranks as a large contract valued between NOK 100 million and 200 million.
The project will expand digestion capacity without new digesters, support higher biogas production, reduce biosolids and carbon footprint, and lower life-cycle asset costs at Watercare’s second-largest wastewater plant. Equipment delivery is currently scheduled for 2028 with operations targeted for 2030, supporting Watercare’s broader programme to increase treatment capacity, improve performance and cut emissions as wastewater flows to the site grow.
