The latest announcement is out from Beijing UBOX Online Technology Corp. Class H ( (HK:2429) ).
Beijing UBOX Online Technology Corp. has renewed and expanded its cooperation with Alipay.com by signing a new Payment Services Framework Agreement and an Advertising Cooperation Framework Agreement, effective from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028. Under these arrangements, Alipay will continue to provide payment services enabling online transactions on UBOX’s vending machines, while both parties will collaborate on advertising and promoting Alipay’s payment products on the machines.
Because Alipay.com is an associate of a substantial shareholder of UBOX through Ant Group, the deals are classified as continuing connected transactions under Hong Kong listing rules. The size of the annual caps triggers reporting, announcement and annual review requirements, but the transactions are exempt from independent shareholders’ approval, streamlining compliance while formalizing a key strategic relationship in UBOX’s payments and advertising ecosystem.
