ANIMA Holding S.p.A. ( (IT:ANIM) ) just unveiled an update.

Anima Holding reported first-quarter 2026 results showing resilient operations despite external headwinds, including market turbulence linked to the war between the USA/Israel and Iran and the long-flagged loss of the Etica SGR mandate. Net inflows excluding insurance portfolios were negative €5.8 billion, almost entirely due to the Etica exit, yet assets under management and administration still edged up 1% year on year to €203.3 billion.

Net management fees rose 5% to €92.1 million and total revenues increased 5% to €140.6 million, supported by essentially stable performance fees and tight cost control that reduced ordinary operating expenses and improved efficiency ratios. Headline net profit fell 14% to €61.4 million because last year’s quarter contained a large one-off income item, but on a normalized basis net profit climbed 13% to €69.9 million, underlining the strength of the underlying business and its diversified distribution channels.

The group’s balance sheet further strengthened, with net cash improving to €558.3 million from €221.3 million a year earlier, reflecting robust operating cash generation despite a lower valuation of its 1.7% stake in Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena. The board also completed checks on the independence requirements for directors and statutory auditors, reinforcing governance structures as the company continues to integrate into the Banco BPM Group and position itself as a key Italian asset management platform.

The most recent analyst rating on (IT:ANIM) stock is a Hold with a EUR6.80 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on ANIMA Holding S.p.A. stock, see the IT:ANIM Stock Forecast page.
