Adani Power Limited ( (IN:ADANIPOWER) ) has shared an announcement.

Adani Power’s subsidiary Moxie Power Generation has secured a Letter of Award from Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation to supply 558 MW of power from its 1,200 MW Tuticorin plant for five years, starting 1 April 2026, at a tariff of Rs 5.910 per unit. With both Tuticorin units now tied up under power purchase agreements, more than 95% of Adani Power’s operating capacity is contracted on a medium- to long-term basis, significantly improving revenue visibility and reducing exposure to short-term market volatility.

The new agreement is expected to provide Tamil Nadu consumers with an additional 558 MW of reliable power, supporting grid stability and more consistent electricity for households, businesses, and industry. By locking in supply at a competitive tariff, the deal aims to deliver more affordable, dependable energy in the state, while helping Adani Power move closer to its goal of near-100% PPA coverage for its operational and under-commissioning plants over the coming years.
